Hello, I’m Charles Purnell, a native of Baltimore, Maryland. However, I’ve been living in NC for the past 11 years. Overcoming addiction, depression, and jail, I have experienced a transformative
journey towards a life of faith. Presently, I am an entrepreneur managing three businesses alongside my career in mental health and substance abuse. My mission revolves around empowering men and young men to evolve into improved versions of themselves. I want them to know that they are not alone in facing the challenges and turbulence that come with being a man in these turbulent times.

Hi I’m Isaac Alderman. I was born and raised in Pender County, North Carolina. After some time spent in college and the experience of some life events, I was led to Raleigh about 15 years ago. I currently own a photography business and work in local county government. I deeply believe that I am my brother’s keeper and that notion has fueled my passion to give back to the men and young men of my community. Equipping them with the invaluable tools necessary to overcome life’s obstacles in order to be productive citizens, and the men and leaders we were created to be.
